Dusseldorf Germany Hilton Hotel

I recently spent four nights in Düsseldorf, but for simplicity I simply call it "Dusseldorf" for this post. I know it is a city and I love my time there, I like the location of the hotel, the city is great and the service is excellent across the board. The Hyatt Regency is just perfect for me; I appreciate how spacious the suites are, we liked the location of all the hotels; the coffee in the restaurant is the best I've had in a hotel in Germany in a long time; and of course the food.

I asked if I could order an egg to fetch the eggs I ordered, so as not to repeat the mistake I made during my stay at the Hilton Vienna, and indeed I had the opportunity. I don't think the toiletries brand in this hotel is new as I've seen it in hotels other than the Hyatt. The room was what I expected from my last stay, but boring in style.

It offers a view of the city of Düsseldorf and the football stadium, and you can see the tower and from the planes spotted by the fans you can see planes landing at the airport in the distance. The Lufthansa Airport Bus is an alternative to the S-Bahn and stops at all major airports in Germany and at the main railway station. Nearby there is also a tram stop, which allows you to easily reach the city centre. A regular bus line 635 connects the airport with the Freising railway stations and offers a direct connection to the city centre of DÜSSELDORF and other parts of Germany and Austria. On the way back to Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Munich, Berlin - Stuttgart and Munich he also stops.

Munich Airport Terminal is located in Düsseldorf, just outside the city centre and only a short walk from the airport terminal. Next door is the Hilton Hotel, an airport hotel owned and operated by Hilton Hotels & Resorts, built in 1994.

Various events such as concerts, events and events for children as well as a number of special events take place in the Rheinland-Saal.

The rail link to Eastern Bavaria, including the new line from the Rhineland - Saal to the city of Düsseldorf, which will be implemented as a separate regional railway line, fulfils one of the most important goals of the German rail network. Further growth in air traffic is expected, as Munich becomes the second major hub in Germany after Frankfurt. Frankfurt has many more intercontinental routes, while Lufthansa flies to more European destinations from Munich Airport than from Frankfurt Airport. The other Star Alliance members flying to Munich are operated exclusively by members of the European Air Transport Association (EATA) such as Air France and Air Germany and have a number of direct flights to destinations in the United States, Europe and the Middle East and North Africa.

The S2 would also stop north of the exhibition grounds and take the shortest route north to the Munich Trade Fair Centre.

Munich Airport is accessible from the nearby motorway and the airport is connected to the city. The motorway 92 connects with the motorway A9 to Nuremberg, the B9 to Düsseldorf and then via the M2 to Munich Airport.

Originally, one could use the Transrapid magnetic railways, which make the journey from Munich main station in 10 minutes.

This idea was rejected and instead set on the Humpel Express, which should run every 15 minutes from the main station to Munich Airport. The new connection allows you to take a connecting bus from the north and then drive back to the airport instead of driving first to Munich city centre and then through the city centre. From 9 December 2018, it will be travelling at an average speed of 30 km / h.

In the early 1990s, Deutsche Bundesbahn considered building a new airport in Munich as part of its expansion plan. Since the home airport Frankfurt suffered at the time under capacity limits, Lufthansa established a second hub with Munich Airport to complement Frankfurt. The new Munich Airport took on most 17. May 1992 the operation and all flights from and to Munich were moved overnight to the new location. In June 2003, the construction of Terminal 2 was completed and inaugurated.

The shareholders of Flughafen München GmbH (FMG) have declared that the construction of a third runway is necessary. On 29 August 2013, the Bavarian Administrative Court rejected Lufthansa's application for a new runway on the grounds of Terminal 2 and was thus acquitted. However, as the project has to be approved by the German Federal Railways and the Federal Office for Environmental Protection (BfV), the construction of a new runway is delayed by several years.

The Erdinger Ringverbindung does not bring faster connection between the airport and the city center. There would be no direct connection from the airport to the Munich trade fair. It would also cut through several towns and neighborhoods that residents vehemently oppose.
